The Council’s Knowsley Works team has supported a new local business to recruit staff into a variety of posts including team members and Barista staff.
Esposito’s Café has expanded it’s Knowsley base and taken on premises in Court Hey Park, Roby. The café operator is already established in Mill Dam Park in Kirkby.
Open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm, Esposito’s has created nine new jobs to support their offer of artisan hot and cold drinks, handmade cakes, sandwiches, bread and soups.
Knowsley Works has arranged for 23 people to have trials at the café, providing invaluable work experience, and six have received job offers – the majority of which are Knowsley residents.
It is hoped that Esposito’s café be opening their doors later this month.
