Young people in Knowsley have been collecting their A Level, T Level, BTEC and other results today – Thursday, 13 August 2026.
For many, the next step may be higher education, or perhaps an apprenticeship, other studies or employment.
As the envelopes were opened, there were plenty of smiles, happy tears and stories of students doing better than they had ever expected.
And no matter what your results, there is plenty of advice and help out there for you as you plan your next steps – whatever route you may take.
You may can find more about guidance and advice here.
Cllr Sean Donnelly, Knowsley Council’s Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, said: “Young people across Knowsley are collecting their exam results today, the culmination of months of hard work.
“For those who achieved the results they wanted I’d like to offer my congratulations! For anyone who didn’t quite get what they wanted, or maybe just aren’t sure what their next steps should be, I would urge them not to worry! Whatever results you have achieved it is an exciting time for you and there are lots of options out there.
“Support and advice is available to help you take your next steps and I would urge people to make the most of this as they explore their available options.”
We will be updating this story over the coming days with news on how some of our local students did – and what plans they have for the future – after collecting their exam results at Sixth Forms and Colleges in and around Knowsley.
