Knowsley Local Elections 2024: Results

Local Elections took place in Knowsley on Thursday, 2 May, with counting on Friday, 3 May.

One seat on each of the borough’s 15 wards was contested. 12 seats were held by Labour, one held by the Green Party; one held by the Liberal Democrats; one held by an Independent.

So today’s result mean no change to the overall political makeup of Knowsley Council.

The results for the Liverpool City Region Mayor and Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner will be counted on Saturday 4 May and results will be announced on the Liverpool Council website at www.liverpool.gov.uk and Choose my Police and Crime Commissioner website.

12.21pm. We now have turnout figures for the Knowsley Local Elections. Overall, the turnout was 21.48%. (15.35% turnout at the polling stations and 56.67% from postal votes).

12.18pm: Counting is now underway here at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park. 15 seats – one in each ward in Knowsley, are up for grabs.

11.51am – Verification is now complete, and counters are being given a 15 minute break before counting proper begins.
