Knowsley Library Service lockdown update

by Sandra Issar

Knowsley Library Service’s ‘Select and Collect’ borrowing service will be suspended when the new national lockdown begins on Thursday, 5, November 2020.

Although the branches will be closed e-books are still available to borrow, and the Home Delivery Service is being extended to allow anyone who would like to borrow books to have them delivered over the lockdown.

There will continue to be computer access for essential use such as job searches, benefits/finance issues, and access to online Council services. Please contact your local branch to book an appointment to use the PCs.

Borrowing e-books

The library website and online catalogue are available to access online. You can use this site to borrow eBooks and eAudioBooks as normal.

If you are not already registered for this service, you can create an account by emailing your name, address and postcode to yourlibrary@knowsley.gov.uk.

Home Delivery

The home delivery service offers a range of books, including audio books and large print, and is being extended over lockdown to allow anyone who would like to borrow books to have them delivered.

Please email yourlibrary@knowsley.gov.uk or call 0151 443 3734 during opening times for more details.
