Tarbock farmer, Olly Harrison is bringing back the Tractor Trail this December for its third year.

On Sunday 18 December from 6pm, more than 100 tractors will take part in the annual event. The dazzling display will parade tractors and trailers, each decorated with fairy lights in order to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Olly said: “We want to smash last year’s fundraising amount of £65000 as well as providing food donations at the same time.”

Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods said:

“It’s fantastic to see a local business supporting our communities in this way. Throughout the pandemic he raised money for NHS charities by growing thousands of sunflowers and for the last three years has spread Christmas cheer while also supporting Alder Hey, which provides a crucial service for the region’s children.”
