This week, council staff and partners will visit Stockbridge Village for the latest action day. Making their way around the whole borough, council officers visit different areas to tackle environmental concerns and highlight some of the services available to households.
Residents in Stockbridge Village can expect to see sewer baiting, which helps to control rats, the removal of fly tipping, street clean ups and more.
Taking place on Wednesday 19 August, from 9:30am, people can come along to the Craigs Community Centre, in Little Moss Hey and speak with some of our teams.
🪫 If you have any small electricals, batteries or vapes – bring them along and the Recycling Team will dispose of them properly.
🐕🦺 Pet owners can bring along their furry friends to our responsible dog owner stall, check the microchip on your dog and even take away a bag of treats for your pooch.
🦺 The Crime and Communities Team will be raising awareness about community safety.
❤️🩹 Change Grow Live will be offering free blood pressure checks for residents. The team can also offer advice and support on preventing drug and alcohol issues.
