February marks the annual month-long celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) history.
As part of Knowsley Council’s commitment to making positive change in the borough for its residents it will mark this important month in the global calendar.
Throughout the month, the Greystone Footbridge and Archway Road Railway Bridge will be lit in rainbow colours and the LGBTQ+ flag will be flown outside the Municipal Building in Huyton.
In addition, Knowsley’s Library Service will offer opportunities for people to explore the extensive literary collection and learn more about LGBTQ+ history and literature.
