Do you have a story to tell about the pandemic in Knowsley? Then you’re invited to join the online Community Conversation created as part of the KnowsleyFutures storytelling project.
KnowsleyFutures Community Conversation is a fun and social way to listen to and share stories about life during the pandemic – and hopes for the future. Everyone is invited to join the online event on Monday, 8 February between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
The event will be on Zoom, and organisers will send a link to the sessions and an information pack to those registering for a free ticket here.
Part of the KnowsleyFutures storytelling project, the event is led by the Young Foundation in partnership with Knowsley Council. The stories told will contribute to the creation of an archive of personal accounts from the pandemic and help shape a local strategy for rebuilding a post-COVID Knowsley.
Cllr Shelley Powell, Knowsley’s Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods said: “We hope that lots of residents will join this social and informal get together, and take the opportunity to listen to and share stories about how the Knowsley community has responded to the pandemic.
“This is a great opportunity for us to collectively reflect on community responses during these challenging times – how we’ve rallied around when it really mattered – and start a conversation about how to create a better Knowsley for the future.”
