Principal Planning Officer

Salary is £47,181 – £48,226 per annum and the closing date is 11 March 2026

As a principal planning officer in the Development Management team you will have opportunities to shape and influence Knowsley’s future growth by dealing with some of the strategic applications the Council will be considering. You will provide expert advice to Members and stakeholders, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives. You will also mentor junior officers and help drive service improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of handling complex and major applications to work in a friendly and pro-active results drive environment. You will have excellent communication and negotiation, skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.

Senior Enforcement Officer (Planning)

Salary is £39,862 – £41,771 per annum and the closing date is 11 March 2026

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Senior Enforcement Officer (Planning) to play a key role within our Planning Service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward‑thinking authority committed to high‑quality development, robust enforcement, and excellent customer service. Programme Manager – Cheshire & Merseyside Association of Directors of Adult Social Services x 2

Salary is £54,703 to £60,044 per annum and the closing date is 22 March 2026

Do you want to play a fundamental role in the transformation and improvement of adult social care and integrated health and social care across nine Cheshire and Merseyside local authorities? Can you lead and champion transformational change, bring forward opportunities for change, promote innovative thinking and evidence-based decision making?

We’re looking for two programme managers to support the delivery of a range of regional transformation and improvement priorities across the Cheshire and Merseyside region which have been agreed by the nine local authority Directors of Adult Social Services. These areas are AI, Digital and Technology Enabled Care (TEC); Market Shaping and New Models of Care (Neighbourhoods).
