Huyton events prove popular once again

March’s family-friendly events proved popular once again in Huyton Village Centre.

On Friday 11 March Huyton Live returned, with a Jersey Boys tribute band and The Ragdolls entertaining the crowds.

Attendees enjoyed a range of street food and drink stalls, with face painting, a children’s entertainer and DJ on offer for younger visitors.

The following day the popular Artisan and Craft Market also returned, offering a range of local, handmade and unique goods and gifts.

Councillor Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, said: “We know from businesses in the Village Centre that they perform really well when these events are held, benefitting both the evening and daytime economy. It’s fantastic to see so many enjoying these events and returning to our town centres in numbers following the pandemic.”
