Healthy Knowsley launches refreshed website for health and wellbeing advice and local support

by Guy Murphy

Knowsley residents can access trusted health and wellbeing information and local support through a new and improved Healthy Knowsley website.

Designed to support residents at every stage of life, the refreshed website brings together health information, advice and support in four dedicated sections:

Start Well, signposts to the Knowsley Info Hub with advice for families, children and young people;

Live Well, covering everything from healthy eating and physical activity to stopping smoking, vaccinations and health checks;

Age Well, offering guidance for older residents on staying active, independent and connected.

Mental Health and Wellbeing, providing practical wellbeing advice and how to access mental health support in a crisis

The website also signposts users to a range of local services, national organisations and helplines.

It has been designed based on the feedback from residents, with ease of use, and accessibility central to its development.

Cllr Bannon, Knowsley Council Cabinet Member for Health, said:

“More and more people are turning to online information to support their health and wellbeing, so it’s important that residents can access trusted advice and support quickly and easily.

“Our redesigned Healthy Knowsley website has been created to help residents find reliable information, practical advice and services that can support them to live healthier lives and take control of their wellbeing.

“Shaped by feedback from local people, the new website is easier to use, more accessible and provides support for every stage of life. I’d encourage residents to take a look and explore the wide range of information and resources available.”
