Knowsley’s Greystone footbridge will be illuminated green on Friday 6 February to mark World Cancer Day in support of Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is the only dedicated charity for patients and research at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and it’s thanks to support from fundraisers that the Charity can help to make The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre such a special place, helping their patients – young and old – get the best possible care & funding life-saving research.
On the evening of Friday 6 February, thousands of the Charity’s supporters will complete this year’s Glow Green Night Walk – an 8k route around Liverpool City Centre.
Along the way, walkers will enjoy performances from local choirs and bands and pause for reflection at a stunning lantern display — on the steps of the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
Every step they make will be making a difference to more people living with cancer across Merseyside, Cheshire and beyond.
Last year, walkers raised an incredible £270,000, helping Clatterbridge Cancer Charity make a real difference to people affected by cancer.
