Greystone Footbridge will Glow Green for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity

by Lisa Bennett

Knowsley’s Greystone and Archway Road bridges will be illuminated green on Friday 2 February to mark World Cancer Day in support of Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is the only dedicated charity for patients and research at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and it’s thanks to support from fundraisers that the Charity can help to make The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre such a special place, helping their patients – young and old – get the best possible care & funding life-saving research.

On the evening of Friday 2 February, thousands of the Charity’s supporters will complete this year’s Glow Green Night Walk – a 5-mile walk around Liverpool City Centre.

Every step they make will be making a difference to more people living with cancer across Merseyside, Cheshire and beyond.

More than 1,000 walkers completed the 2023 Glow Green: Night Walk and helped to raise over £166,000!
