Funded activities for children and young people over the Christmas holidays

by Jonathan Kearney

Children and young people across Knowsley will once again be able to access funded activities during the Christmas break.

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, delivered by Knowsley SNAP, will provide thousands of activity places across the borough.

All eligible parents and carers have been issued vouchers containing a booking link to select the activity their child would like to attend.

The winter HAF programme will include provision for SEND. Please contact the activity providers for specific requirements.

Activities will take place on 22, 23, 29 and 30 December 2025.

Details of the activities can be found here.

Cllr David Lonergan, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, said: “Parents and carers in Knowsley will be delighted to see the return of the HAF programme over the Christmas period. We know from feedback from parents, carers and indeed the children who take part, that the HAF programme has a really positive impact on them.”

Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods, said: “There is always a fantastic range of HAF activities for children and young people in the borough to enjoy and I’m certain those taking part during the Christmas period will really benefit from the sessions on offer.”
