With its Nutwood development located locally in Roby, Bellway is teaming with Stagecoach to sponsor the shuttle bus between Huyton bus station and Court Hey Park, the flower show’s home for the past 21 years.
Jenny Bell, sales director at Bellway, said: “It’s the first time we have been involved in the Knowsley Flower Show and are thrilled to support such a special event. With 20,000 visitors expected, the shuttle buses provide efficient and easy access to the event, ensuring it continues to attract as many people as possible from across the North West. We are looking forward to the day itself and are confident many residents from Nutwood will also be in attendance.”
Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods, said: “I’m really pleased that it’s so easy for visitors to get to Knowsley Flower Show. You can leave your car at home and jump on a free shuttle bus running across Knowsley regularly throughout the day or if you do prefer to drive, there’s a large on site car park for all day parking at just £4 per vehicle. With free transport and free entry into the show, it’s an ideal day out for all of the family.”
The Knowsley Flower Show is a flagship event in the community and is the largest free horticultural show in the North West, with lots of attractions, entertainment and activities planned to celebrate.
The event takes place on Sunday 4 August 2019 between 11am at 5pm at Court Hey Park, Huyton. More information about the event is available on the Knowsley Flower Show website, or on its Facebook page. You can also download the timetable for all the shuttle bus services and plan your journey now.
Thanks to all of the sponsors of shuttle buses for this year’s Knowsley Flower Show – SSE, and Halewood, Whiston, Prescot, and Knowsley Town Council.
