Davids from across Knowsley and beyond will be able to join in with the 100th birthday celebrations of Sir David Attenborough this Friday (8 May) thanks to free entry to Knowsley Safari.
A passionate natural historian, Sir David Attenborough has been the voice and face of some of the most groundbreaking television wildlife documentaries, introducing millions to the wonders of the natural world.
To commemorate Sir David reaching his 100th birthday, Knowsley Safari is offering free entry to anyone with the first name David, giving visitors the chance to learn more about wildlife conservation, natural history and the role Knowsley Safari plays in supporting endangered species.
Knowsley’s five-mile safari drive is the longest in the UK and home to everything from cheeky baboons to the iconic lion pride. There’s also a Foot Safari with walking trails through woodland and tiger enclosures and animal habitats.
