Knowsley Council is offering free Health Start Vitamins to children aged under 4, all pregnant people and those who are breastfeeding.
The offer is not income based and is an extension to the means tested government offer.
Healthy Start Vitamins support child development as well as providing additional nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding and are a key part of our Best Start in Life offer
Vitamins can be accessed at all Children’s Centres and Family Hubs across the borough.
When receiving the vitamins residents will be registered with the Early Years Service. This will also open access to lots of great resources and support. More information is available online: https://knowsleyearlyyears.co.uk
Cllr Christine Bannon, Knowsley Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, said: “Vitamins are essential to our physical and cognitive development, and that of our children.
“This offer ensures that eligible Knowsley residents can access these supplements regardless of income or background and I would urge those who are eligible to take up the offer.”
