If you’re looking for ideas to help you keep the children entertained over the school summer holidays check out all the fantastic free activities in Knowsley’s libraries.

The packed programme includes the Gadgeteers! Summer Reading Challenge with science and spy themed activities galore, Mad Science’s Inventions and Discoveries show, Zoolab minibeast sessions, storytelling, colouring, games, Lego and much more too!

Gadgeteers! Summer Reading Challenge

Children aged 4-11 can visit any Knowsley Library to participate in Gadgeteers and get involved in a science and innovation themed Summer Reading Challenge.

With thousands of books to choose from and activities to join in with, Gadgeteers will spark children’s curiosity about the world around them and encourage them to feed their imagination over the summer holiday. There’s lots to keep children busy this summer!
