Knowsley residents aged 18 – 30 who are not in employment, education or training are being invited to an online event to find out more about careers in health and social care.
The Prince’s Trust is working with local health and social care providers, including the NHS, to support young people into a variety of roles including portering, domestics, administration, gardening and catering, as well as Healthcare Assistant opportunities.
Anyone interesting in finding out more can join the online sessions running during the week 21-25 March, which will feature Q&A sessions with employers to make sure the job roles are right for you. There will also be bespoke support in creating a CV, applying for jobs, interview techniques and employability skills with guaranteed interviews for candidates at the end of the week.
The Prince’s Trust is able to support candidates financially with costs such as travel to work, uniforms, purchasing photo ID and DBS checks, and you will be assigned a mentor after the programme to help support you through the starting period of your new job. You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications and attending the programme will not affect your benefits!
Places on the course are limited so please register your interest by emailing OutreachMerseyside@princes-trust.org.uk
