Ecotherapy gets people working together

by KMBC

Want to improve your team working and raise morale in your business or organisation? Getting back to nature and challenging yourselves to light a fire using only ingenuity might by just the thing!

Ecotherapy and bushcraft sessions in Knowsley parks are helping colleagues in businesses and organisations across the City Region spend time in the great outdoors learning valuable team working skills.

Run by Knowsley Council’s Rangers Service, the sessions are a chance for teams to get out of their usual workplace and get to know each other better, whilst completing challenges including shelter building, fire lighting and orienteering.

The sessions are also helping to sustain the council’s Rangers Service, which provides many free services and events throughout the year to help you get the most out of your local parks.

Find out more about these bushcraft sessions and Knowsley’s Environmental Education programme. You can also email dns.sustainability@knowsley.gov.uk, or call 0151 443 2414.
