Easter egg charity appeal from East of Halewood developer

by Jonathan Kearney

A housebuilder involved with the East of Halewood development is encouraging people to support its Easter children’s charity appeal.

Miller Homes is reaching out to the local community for an Easter egg donation to support Variety, a children’s charity that helps disabled and disadvantaged children and young people in the region.

Miller Homes is asking for people to drop off contributions to the sales centre at its Wilbury Park development in Halewood.

Donations are encouraged up until Thursday 21 March. After then, they’ll be collected up by Miller Homes, who’ll add a substantial donation on top of what the community has given, and then pass them along to Variety North West.

Clare Noakes, Sales Director of Miller Homes North West, commented: “As our annual Easter drive comes around again, we can’t wait to begin collecting eggs. Last year with the help of the lovely locals, we were able to send over 100 Easter eggs to Variety, and we only hope to top it this year!”

Lyn Staunton, Director of Variety North West added: “You would be surprised at the difference something as little as chocolate eggs make to the lives of the children that we work with. We’re very grateful for Miller Homes’ support again this year, as we are every year.”

Drop off location: Wilbury Park, Higher Rd, Halewood, L26 9TX

Drop off opening times: Monday – Sunday 10.30am – 5.30pm

Final date for drop off: Thursday 21 March
