Parents and carers are being reminded to reconfirm their childcare code to ensure their child continues to receive funded childcare hours for the upcoming April term.
If you’re an eligible working parent, you can get 30 hours childcare for your child from the term after they turn 9 months old up to school age.
You must reconfirm your details every three months via your GOV.UK account. You’ll get a reminder when it’s time.
The process only takes a few minutes online, but failing to do so could mean funding is temporarily paused, leaving you to cover the costs until your code is updated again.
The deadline to reconfirm your code is 31 March 2026 to start using your childcare hours from 1 April 2026.
