Delay with Clinically Extremely Vulnerable letters

by Nicola Appleton

We have received a number of enquiries relating to letters that should have been received from the Department of Health and Social Care to residents who have been identified as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable.

The Department for Health and Social Care has confirmed that all letters have now been posted and should be received by residents in this category over the coming days.

The letter sets out a number of steps that you should be taking if you have been identified as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable, ensuring that you stay at home as much as possible.

If you think that you are in the Clinically Extremely Vulnerable category and you haven’t received your letter by early next week, please contact your GP who will be able to provide you with a copy of the letter.

The Government guidance around Clinically Extremely Vulnerable can be found here.
