Could you volunteer for Willowbrook Fashion and Home in Kirkby?

by Guy Murphy

Willowbrook Fashion and Home stores opened their new outlet in Kirkby Town Centre on 30 April 2024.

You can find it at Unit 9 at the Kirkby retail development (opposite The Coffee House) from 9am until 4pm Monday to Saturday.

Willowbrook Hospice is a specialist palliative care unit based in Prescot, providing high quality care and support for patients, their families, many of which come from Kirkby.

The new outlet in Kirkby will help to generate income which is needed each year to provide this invaluable support to local people.

You can support your local Willowbrook outlet by donating clothing and furniture or volunteering.

Items can be dropped off during the store’s opening hours.

Could you spare a few hours to volunteer? Volunteers are needed from Monday to Saturday from 9am until 1pm or 1pm until 4pm.

Volunteering at Willowbrook includes accepting donations, sorting, steaming and tagging donations, arranging displays and customer services.

Full training will be given as well as travel expenses and free tea and coffee for staff members.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please apply via Willowbrook Hospice’s website – www.willowbrook.org.uk and click on the blue volunteer button at the top right hand side.  Alternatively, you can call Ian or Nicola on 01744 453798.
