Children’s Social Care Team Manager – Children with Disabilities

Salary is £53,460 to £54,495 per annum and the closing date is 5 July 2026

To be successful for the team manager post you will be a qualified, highly experienced social worker and you will be professionally registered with Social Work England. You will have excellent understanding of childcare legislation and social work principles, with the ability to lead, direct and motivate teams. You will have evidential experience of managing staff and resources including completing staff supervision and you will be committed to making a difference for Children, Young People and their families.  It’s important you actively invest in your continuous professional development, and we will support you to do this.

Health and Social Care Worker – Together We Care – Full Time and Part Time roles available

Salary is £25,583 – £27,254 per annum (plus additional payments dependant on shift pattern. This is the full time salary, it would be reduced pro rata for part-time hours)

Fleet Procurement and Compliance Manager

Salary is £47,181 to £48,226 and the closing date is 5 July 2026

The primary purpose of the post is the fleet management and operational technical support functions including fleet procurement/disposal, asset register management and the day-to-day line management of the Council’s Stretton Way depot and stores units. It also includes management of the fleet workshop facility and to ensure the legal compliance of the fleet to meet the requirements of the Council’s Operators licence, driver and vehicle standards and all related regulations.

Technical Assistant – Highways Development Control

Salary is £28,598 – £31,022 per annum (pro rata) and the closing date is 5 July 2026

Highways Development Control is part of the Highways and Capital Delivery Service, responsible for delivering and protecting Knowsley’s highway network and ensuring new development supports safe, sustainable and accessible travel. We are seeking a Technical Assistant to support a range of Development Control and site development processes within the team. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines administrative, technical and coordination work, supporting the delivery of highway infrastructure associated with new development.

ASYE Social Worker

Salary is £37,280 per annum (Fixed point 26) and the closing date is 5 July 2026

The new Social Work Academy is recruiting ASYE positions within Children and Young People’s Service – where we will be by your side, working together to strengthen practice.

Principal Housing Delivery Officer

Salary is £42,839 to £44,075 per annum and the closing date is 7 July 2026

The post will be based within the Strategic Housing team which is responsible for homelessness, allocations, housing assistance, affordable warmth, affordable homes development and housing intelligence. You will be responsible for developing housing strategy and policy as well as supporting the operational housing functions which include housing allocation, homelessness and housing renewal.

Principal IT Developer

Salary is £39,862 to £41,771 per annum and the closing date is 7 July 2026

We are recruiting Principal IT Developers with experience of software engineering best practice and AI development. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of using AI agents and LLMs to deliver business requirements. They will also understand how to work as part of a team to achieve results.
