Benefits Officer
Salary is £32,061 – £33,699 per annum and the closing date is 14 June 2026
We are looking to recruit an experienced Benefit Officer to join our committed and friendly assessment team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will process Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction Claims as well as Housing Payment Applications. The postholder will also review existing claims to identify changes.

Children’s Social Care Team Manager (Children with Disabilities)

Salary is £53,460 to £54,495 per annum and the closing date is 14 June 2026
To be successful for the team manager post you will be a qualified, highly experienced social worker and you will be professionally registered with Social Work England. You will have excellent understanding of childcare legislation and social work principles, with the ability to lead, direct and motivate teams. You will have evidential experience of managing staff and resources including completing staff supervision and you will be committed to making a difference for Children, Young People and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Knowsley’s Prevention Service – STEP. The team sits under the direction of the Youth Justice Service but is very much a partnership approach to tackling anti-social behaviour, crime and exploitation.
