Knowsley residents are being asked to be vigilant when it comes to receiving unsolicited phone calls.
We were recently contacted by a resident who said they had been cold-called by someone claiming to be from “the local Council” about “housing repairs”.
Knowsley Council does not own or manage housing stock (aside from some properties used specifically as temporary accommodation) so would never contact residents over the phone about housing repairs.
You should never disclose personal information when you receive unsolicited ‘cold’ calls.
