The 2023 Knowsley Business Awards celebrated another year of business success and achievements with hundreds of guests from across the North West.
This year’s awards ceremony was full of good cheer as a total of 15 awards were handed out and over 800 guests enjoyed the celebrations.
Held at the Grand Marquee at Knowsley Safari, the event celebrated Knowsley’s ambitious and aspirational business community and the organisations and individuals across Knowsley who make a significant contribution to the borough and the wider local and regional economy.
Cllr Graham Morgan, Leader of Knowsley Council commented:

Special Entertainment
Guests at this year’s ceremony were treated to a special dance performance from Knowsley Central School, who provide education provision to pupils with complex needs.
Supporting Local Charities
As in previous years, the Charity Auction at the ceremony raised money for the Mayor of Knowsley’s chosen charities. This year, the Mayor of Knowsley, Cllr Eddie Connor is supporting Breast Mates, a self-help group run by local people, and Knowsley Central School, which provides specialist provision for pupils aged between 3 and 14 years who have complex needs.
A total of £9,330 was raised at Charity Auction and raffle. Amazon generously match funded £5,000, followed by further donations from Fusion 21, Bespoke Fireplaces, SolidTek, LFC, Patrick Properties and The Forshaw Group.
The grand total raised on the night was a fantastic £17,530.
Foodbank Donations
Following the generous donations made at last year’s awards ceremony, guests were once again asked to kindly provide their support to those most impacted by the cost-of-living crisis by bringing donations for the local foodbank.
A huge collection of generous donations was collected on the evening. 718kg was donated, the equivalent weight of 7 Giant Pandas.
