Bowring Park has a packed programme of events taking place this summer, including Family Sports Day, the Bowring Park Dog Show, live music, guided bike rides, K-Pop performances, circus workshops and the Summer Family Fun Day finale on 31 August.
Alongside the summer events programme, grow CIC continues to deliver a wide range of community activities at Bowring Park, including weekly walking and gardening groups, volunteering opportunities and wellbeing programmes. The aim is ensure Bowring Park continues to be a place where people can connect, be active and enjoy affordable experiences close to home.
Oisín Hennessy, Director of Oneday Leisure, said: “We’ve worked hard to put together what we believe is our biggest and best summer programme yet. Whether you’re coming along for one of our large family fun days, enjoying live music, trying FootGolf for the first time or simply spending a few hours outdoors with family and friends, there’s always something happening throughout the holidays.
“ These events are about bringing people together, supporting the local community and making Bowring Park a place people want to return to again and again.”
Many of the activities taking place throughout the summer are free to attend, helping make Bowring Park one of Knowsley’s most accessible destinations for families during the school holidays.
