HRH Queen Elizabeth II Thankyou for your life long humble service and commitment to your vow, which has helped bless our Country with stability and diplomacy. Thank you for being a clear example of what it is to follow Jesus and to love our neighbour as well as blessing us with your love and zest for life, together with a sprinkle of fun. Let us grieve, but also as those with hope.

HRH Queen Elizabeth II

You have always been and continue to be an inspiration to us all,
During the good times and the bad.
We will think of you when we are feeling sad.

A moment in history that has never been known
It's seventy years since you came to the throne.
Throughout your long and exceptional life
You have served us all not only as our Queen but also as a Mother and a Wife.

The Nation's Grandmother you are & will always be truly missed.
We've laughed and we've cried since the day that you died.

Thank you Your Majesty for your constant dedication and selfless devotion.
I wish I could bottle it as a Regal potion.
You were so elegant, loyal and very forgiving.
You have shown us all that life is for living.

Now that you have gained your Angel wings.
We'll laugh when we remember the funny things
Memories of you will never fade.
I laugh when I see a jar of Marmalade
After your meeting with Paddington

Thank You Ma'am for everything that you have done
As we slowly move forward under the reign of your eldest Son.
Thank You Your Majesty for a job well done.

My thoughts and prayers are with your children and their families... Collapse

The sad news of the death of the Queen touches all of us in many different ways. In my small number of encounters with the Queen, I witnessed how she cared deeply and sincerely about our country, our people, and the important role she filled in the Commonwealth It is, perhaps, unfashionable these days to talk about duty and responsibility: our duty and responsibilities to our country and to each other. The Queen was a shining example in the way she embodied the ideal of the duty and the huge responsibilities she carried on her shoulders. Heartfelt thanks for her long and distinguished service to our country.
