B&M is opening the doors to its new store in Huyton Village Centre tomorrow (Saturday 7 May 2022 at 9am).

The discount retailer is now based in the former New Look and Poundland stores on Cavendish Walk which has been extensively refurbished both internally and externally to create the 14,392 sq ft store.

The store offers an array of food, drink, gifts, toys, home furnishings, DIY essentials, electricals, games and much more and is a very welcome addition to Huyton.

In addition, 12 new jobs have been created at the store for local people.

Cllr Graham Morgan, Leader of Knowsley Council, said: “The Council has been working closely with B&M to relocate their store in Huyton and it’s great to see their return to the Village Centre. I know residents and visitors will be pleased to see its doors open tomorrow. As well as creating local jobs, it is also bringing two empty units into use which is great news for Huyton Village Centre.”

Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, added: “We have ambitious plans for Huyton which includes attracting retail, leisure and commercial offers for our residents and visitors alike. B&M’s opening of a new, bigger store is a very welcome addition to Huyton’s offer.”

This latest opening supports the Council’s ten-year development plans for Huyton Village Centre which has seen an array of new food and drink outlets opening over the last two years, more shop fronts benefitting from the shop front improvement scheme and an engaging events programme being delivered too.

Plans are also progressing over the coming months to bring a further two empty buildings back into use to offer creative and digital maker spaces and more contemporary shop front improvements are also planned.
