Bloom Nursery will offer a children’s day nursery and out of school club, providing 40 early years places.
Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Bloom Nursery to Kirkby town centre, offering early years childcare provision.
“We have a blossoming child friendly offer in the town centre, with Made to be Mum and Lindsey’s Art Shed recently opening, providing a range of services and activities for children of all ages and their families, and Bloom Child Day Nursery and Out of Hours Childcare is a welcome addition to that offer.
“It’s an exciting time to open in Kirkby town centre, which has benefitted from investment through the delivery of a retail development, refurbished car park, new homes being built as well as more retail progressing with Lidl submitting their planning application for a new store in the town.
“Plus Kirkby has benefitted from £19.5m from the Government’s Pride in Place programme, which will address local priorities over the next ten years.
“I look forward to Bloom Nursery opening shortly.”
