ARK search room two week closure

The ARK (Archive Resource for Knowsley) Search Room will close for two weeks, from Monday 20 January, for its annual stock take.

The temporary closure of the Search Room, located in Kirkby Library, The Kirkby Centre, will allow staff to make sure the collections are in good condition, safely housed and ready to assist you in your future research.

An enquiry service will still be available from Monday 20 January to Monday 3 February while the search room is closed. Written enquiries and those by phone and email can still be made by calling 0151 443 4291 or by e-mailing infoheritage@knowsley.gov.uk or put in writing to the ARK at the Kirkby Centre.

ARK’s online services will still be available to access online on the Archive Resource for Knowsley website and you will also be able to keep up to date with The ARK while work on the collections is underway: follow The ARK on Twitter @knowsleyarchive, read the blog  Knowsley Archives or keep in touch on Facebook Knowsley Archives Facebook.
