Another new business opens in Huyton Village Centre

Another business has chosen Huyton Village Centre for its home. The Healing Centre, based in Sherbourne Square (inside Kerry’s Fitness 2), is a partnership between sisters Mellissa and Clarissa Strickland and offers alternative and complimentary therapies.

The Healing Centre follows Holland and Barratt and the Citizen’s Advice Bureau who have also taken out premises in Huyton Village Centre, with The Fragrance Shop also extending its lease for a further ten years.

The Healing Centre offers a full holistic service, targeting your body, mind and spirit.  Prior to any treatments, a full consultation is carried out to ensure any treatments are tailored to your individual needs.

Mellissa and Clarissa said

“We were brought up in Huyton and wanted to combine our skills to provide something for our local community, so we’re delighted to be based right in the heart of Huyton Village Centre.  Whether it’s just pure relaxation and rejuvenation or perhaps targeting a pain or injury, we can help.  We’d encourage anyone who is passing to call in for a cuppa to see what we offer, or visit our website to find the full range of services and how to book.”

Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, added

“I’m delighted to see another new business choose Huyton as their base and provide more choice for the visitors to the Village Centre.  The development of Huyton Village Centre is a priority for the council and we have already started to deliver on a range of activities to drive more visitors into the centre. This has included organising the Foodie Friday events which have proved to be extremely popular, and work will shortly be starting on installing CCTV, lighting and improved shop fronts on Derby Road.”
