This summer, the UK Government is helping make family fun more affordable with the Great British Summer Savings campaign.
From 25 June to 1 September, the Government has slashed VAT on the costs of children’s restaurant meals, children’s tickets for theatres and cinemas and all tickets for attractions like soft play, amusement parks, and museums.
In Knowsley, residents and visitors can get discounted entry into Knowsley Safari Park.
Throughout August children aged 5-15 will also be able to travel for free on participating local buses, ensuring families can get around even when driving isn’t an option.

Summer of fun in Knowsley
Don’t forget, families across Knowsley are also invited to make the most of the school holidays as a packed programme of free events comes to town centres and parks across the borough this summer.
From dinosaurs and circus performers to magical storybook characters, live entertainment and interactive workshops, the Summer of Fun line-up in town promises weeks of family-friendly activities in all three of Knowsley’s town centres.
