Access free, expert support to help you quit smoking

by Laura Johnston

If you’ve decided to quit smoking, you don’t have to rely on willpower alone. Knowsley has free, specialist help and support – the “gold standard” of support to make sure you succeed.

Research shows that smokers are three times more likely to quit successfully with help from a trained stop smoking advisor than by going it alone.

In Knowsley, you have access to specialist support through the Knowsley Stop Smoking Service. You can access free nicotine replacement products such as refillable vapes as well as support from a local advisor to help you stay on track. The friendly team will be out and about in January February to offer face-to-face advice and answer any questions you have about starting your quit journey, catch them:

  • Monday 2 February, Livv Housing, Bryer Road Community Centre, L35 5DW, 1pm to 3pm
  • Wednesday 4 February, Healthy Homes Roadshow, Kirkby Library, 10am to 12pm
  • Tuesday 10 February, Livv Housing, Hillside Neighbourhood Centre, Huyton, L36 8DS, 1pm to 3.30pm
